The Best Nightlife Areas in Waterfront Esplanade, Kota Kinabalu
The Waterfront Esplanade is in Kota Kinabalu the Capital of Sabah in Borneo; it is an architectural work in progress in line with the sea setting and resort that this becomes the best nightlife areas and among the favorites of young professionals. After work and during weekends they gathered in the resorts that also attracted locals, backpackers and foreigners going to their best nightlife areas. The Waterfront Esplanade is a part of the narrow belt of land reclamation seashore; this place has a market, bars, clubs, café and restaurant mostly visited by locals, foreigners and immigrant from nearby countries, (Thiessen, 2012).
Some of the best nightlife areas in Waterfront Esplanade include the First Beach Café, the first impression of visitors is the best view of the sunsets right on the beach as customers eat and drink. The Sheenanigan’s western style pubs and restaurant are best for their important draft combined with live music. The Port View Seafood Village is a Chinese restaurant with several aquariums where customers choose their orders. The Konihoor is an Indian style outdoor restaurant with authentic oriental cuisine. These are just some of the few bars and club that they can visit (Rowthorn, Cohen & Williams, 2008).
Getting to the best nightlife areas from Kota Kinabalu Airport to Waterfront Esplanade is just a one way ride using taxi; this will take as little as 20 to 30 minutes travel time. They can also hire available cars or book in advance, so that customers are visited and taken back and port at the Waterfront Esplanade. The Kota Kinabalu Airport is not really far from the Waterfront Esplanade, visitors and travelers can also take a walk if they want, although this will take about one and a half hour (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in Waterfront Esplanade opening vary, but several bars and clubs open as early as 6:00 pm up to midnight or until 2:00 am. One of the main concerns that visitors must remember is that the water quality is still questionable. When going around Kota Kinabalu, it is recommended to bring additional bottled water from registered water station. It is also recommended to boil the water before drinking. The government tried continuously, studying the conditions of their water and how this can be resolved (Oskanews.com, 2011).
