Literature Review

Introduction

Examining a discussion through the application of literature review is important because it seeks to correlate the written research material to the existing discussion that is relevant to the main subject. Correlating the values and interests of the research seeks to explore the strengths and weaknesses of the main argument being explained by the content of the research material. There are different methods, models, and factors applied in the presentation of literature review because it seeks to find out relevant measures to strengthen the credibility of the research problem. This paper aims to present a literature review that corresponds to the association of factors and supportive literature of the main subject matter that is associated with the research problem. It seeks to find out the relevance of the presented literature to the variables as it presents arguments, examples, and theorems that are relevant to the phenomena of research.

Going through with the body of the literature review, the most relevant influence of the research process is the understanding of the PICOT model, especially when relating it with the process of medical-related subject matter. PICOT presentation is associated with the standards that apply with the implementation of nursing procedures that play an important role to ensure that the procedures and standards of care are provided. Examples are the patient, intervention, comparison, outcome or interest, and the duration or the time of the procedure that are needed to be discussed and explained. Standards of procedures are required to ensure that there is a chronological way of applying a research that implies a greater deal of understanding to the research problem and its analysis to the main subject. Standards of providing a chronological presentation in the field of explorative procedures enable a systematic review of subject matter that is segregated in several parts of the paper (Lamb, 2013).

Social factors applied with the PICOT analysis is an example on how a procedure in the field of medical studies will be concentrating with the application of communication while rendering health care services. The literature of sociological interest concentrates on the ability of an individual to focus on the values and interests that seeks to compound with the interest of the involved participants that are relevant with their structure of communication. Utilizing subjective and objective in their responses enables to determine the internal and external perceptions that are allowed to partake with the procedures in the research process. Communication plays an important role for sustaining the aspects of rapport and interpersonal relationships between two or more parties to reveal relevant literature that provides supportive insights to its research practices. It seeks to value the significance of information exchange through verbal and non-verbal communication aspects.

With regards to implementing an efficient PICOT model as part of obtaining relevant information from the patient as part of the literary aspects of this paper, technology is always involved during patient interaction. Relevant information is revealed using sociological approach because it deals with the behavioral integrity of an individual or a group who are aiming to participate with the research and sharing important information with the subject matter. The literature of using technology is significant for gaining validity of each argument. This is because it values electronic facilities initiated by the researchers such as the medical practitioners to experience at first-hand regarding the implications of health records as well as interventions. In this way, information is stored using a storage device so that it will be referred to other researchers and practitioners that save the information to be used for future references that will be used with the methodology and evaluation of information discussed throughout the paper (Creswell, 2013).

Cultural factor is regarded as a challenge for obtaining information in the research design. There are aspects of practice that should be practiced by every researcher before they can obtain relevant data in their research. One of which is the religious culture of their patient, which is a special consideration that should be respected and practice before it will be carried out by the participating health care personnel to carryout relevant therapeutic interventions. In this way, the relevance of promoting an efficient literature is to comprehend with the customs and traditions of the operating institution. This is also applicable with the environment wherein the general public has been practicing different norms and customs that are associated with their practice. This is when information will start pouring and being shared after the researcher or the provider will finally comprehend with the culture and traditions applied by the person of interest (Galvan, 2015).

Implication

It has been concluded and learned that presenting the literature review offers a variety of aspects and corners of belief that a person should follow. Determining the factors will enable the environmental and internal considerations that should be applied before a certain action becomes relevant to the practice of the research process. Understanding the influence of cultures, policies, and structure of the main subject as it is applied to one of its procedures such as in PICOT reveals that it will create a systematic form of discussion to present the information in a concise manner. Research is a complex task, which requires a related literature portion to detail relevant information taken from theoretical concepts, experiences, and phenomenon to ensure that the value of the main subject is credible. This is the reason why there are numerous recommendations as well as verifications being attested through the discussions from the literature review that highlights the main subject of discussion.
