Introduction
Project managers are important to ensure that the job market and required skills becomes a necessity for every company. Companies in the modern society is now upgrading into a new environment wherein they are now transitioning into a practice that need computer and information management skills. As a company, information technology is an important part of the company’s operations. The main reason is to improve communication skills that are visible to online users. The company needs to expand its visibility through its online space because there is another avenue for the project to improve its services within the company. Most companies are now operating with the use of computers in order to ensure that their productivity becomes more accessible to their consumers and investors. This is why project managers need to improve their company or organization’s visibility by having new staff responsible for creating new communication tools to formally connect with other institutions or individuals.
As a project manager, selecting new stakeholders should consider the academic background of the applicant. One of the most important issues is the exposure to computers. This includes being familiar with the word processing application of the computers that are very helpful to the company. Aside from word processing programs that are operated in computers, the project manager needs a person who is familiar with other application such as power point presentations. This means that the stakeholder is responsible for processing and printing letters and documents. Communication plays an important role for every individual to improve their relationship with other companies. Formal communication is mostly established through publication of new documents that aims to establish formal relationship between two or more individuals (Patel, 2018).
The background that the project manager should look upon is their experience for operating computer-related activities. In their resume, there are previous experiences that involve exposure to computer applications. One of these is social media advertisements that are important for the company’s exposure. Involvement of social media is important because stakeholders who have had experiences dealing with social media exposure will help the company gain its exposure. This set of new staff aims to ensure that the company will have a new reason to become more productive and competitive than other companies. There is a new trend in the modern history that having a social media profile seeks to improve the productivity of the company or organization. When you combine word processing or any processing media with the use of social media, there will be more positive results.
Implication
It has been learned that as a project manager, having a skill in computer technology or information technology is important. The newly hired stakeholder with experiences in information technology is important because this person will help to improve the productivity of the company. This well-experienced stakeholder will be the facilitator for the whole organization on how to improve the company’s visibility. Communication will be improved because as a project manager because that particular person will teach the proper way on how to make a formal letter or memorandum for the whole organization. In this case, creating a proper communication letter will become more efficient when dealing with formal cooperation or coordination with other individuals or organizations. In the same manner, processing of files or documents becomes more organized through the help of information technology assistants at work (Abdou, Yong & Othman, 2016).
