Introduction

Religious and academic contexts either agree on a certain issue, but don’t have to approve a context or a belief as based on their theoretical and biblical frameworks. The reason is all about the differences with the application of knowledge, customs, traditions, and historical background that shapes their practices. In this way, there are certain arguments that are observed between religious and academic contexts for the reason that each side tries to defend what they believe in and what they apply that usually satisfies their common interest. In this case, this paper aims to discuss about the context relating the perceptions, applications, and beliefs between religious belief and academic context. It seeks to find out the main arguments why academic and religious groups differ from each other, relating their perceptive application that has been playing an important role to present their argument or belief.

The similarities that can be applied with the concepts between the academic and religious beliefs are the way they present the common interest of their insight. This is based on the applications rendered by their experiences, which plays an important role to sustain their practices and beliefs. One Another similarity is that there is a respect applied between the two groups by means of recognizing their association to a certain practice or application as an operating group. The only difference is that academic believes in conceptual frameworks as well as theoretical application in order to prove a certain fact. On the other hand, religious groups concentrate on their spiritual well-being by means of associating their faith that seeks to defend their perceptions with the customs and norms. This is the reason why there are certain differences being observed between the two groups basing from their religious association of their practices as well as their traditional values in the long run.

The benefits that can be associated with the religious versus the academic context is all about the opportunity to share the thoughts, values, and interests in order to increase awareness of a certain fact. Another is all about presenting the argument in a way to improve the defense of each group towards their belief and insight. However, the limitation is all about the clash of ideas that overlaps between the two groups. There will be a conflict of interests between the two groups and insights due to the differences being observed with the insights as well as the interests that they present with each other. For this reason, the value of the content that each group is defending differs because theorems and religious beliefs are not compatible with their practices. As a result, the debate can produce heated arguments between the members of a certain group that defends their point of views and interests.

If I happen to be a religious person, academic class on the bible changed how I engage in sacred texts by means of allowing myself to understand the practice and the custom. It is important to respect the context of sacred texts for the reason that it represents the value and the practice of a certain group regarding the belief that they are implying with their practices. For this reason, there are certain principles that need to be respected because it values the identity and the value of a person to ensure that their practice and belief becomes consecrated and appreciated. Being open-minded is a practice that allows my personal virtue to value the essence of a certain belief, custom, and tradition, especially in a religious context. This is because I always value the existence of a practice to prevent conflicting interests of other individuals (Nognbri, 2015).
