1) Git- R- Don was developed by some white people who decided they wanted to do more than their jobs fixing transmissions. These white people included Larry , the Guy who joined radio serials and whooped just get r done which meant anything can be done just get it done. It is a purely motivational way to get people to stop being idle or being apathetic to other people or to their surroundings and to just get down to do what is right and more. They would do practical things like weeding flowerbeds, throwing trash in the dumpster or just about any ordinary task.
2) Top celebrities who are most charitable are Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Kevin Durant. Taylor Swift supports Unicef, Grammy Foundation and Save The Music Foundation. She is a great supporter of literacy in all aspects and anti-bullying literacy programs under Scholastic publications.
Beyonce supports Musicares, Clothes Off Our Back and Candie’s Foundation. She is into housing projects in her hometown in Houston and has so far provided 43 homeless people with homes of their own. She may be all razzle and dazzle onstage but behind it, she has a heart of gold.
Kevin Durant the basketball athlete whose endless prowess in court has all of us amazed has his own Kevin Durant Charity Foundation and supports the Aids Still Required Foundation. Tendering towards at-risk youngsters, their foundation provide help in terms of athletic, educational and social programs. They also involved themselves with children in foster care homes.
3) Taylor Swift is a multi-Grammy award singer who parties and celebrates life in public but little do we know that she has been very supportive of the literacy programs of children. She is very concerned about bullying that happens in school therefore she supports books that tell stories on how to handle bullying in school.
Beyonce is another multi-Grammy award singer and actor who knows how to strut her stuff onstage. She is a veritable activist on racial issues and has come back to her hometown to settle some homeless people into free housing in Houston.
Kevin Durant is known for being the best basketball player we have today. When not in the court, he is helping children who are at risk for crime and the damaging street life to find better ways of dealing with poverty. He has developed programs to keep the youth off the streets doing crime or being idle and giving them something to strive for. He personally delivers these programs to the children by using sports as an avenue to express themselves in a healthy way.
4) Celebrities and Athletes are into foundations because they care. They have achieved so much in their own time that they have space to care for others who are less fortunate. Their support of foundations and charitable institutions are effective because they care, they show they care and they are effective at it. They are models for the people including children to follow and they make certain that they win these people over to the positive side by being positive themselves. Some of these people are unaware of the stagnancy of the lives they are in especially the poor therefore awareness is the key by showing them the right and kind way towards life.
