Statement of Purpose
To: Office of the Human Resource Management
I would like to forward my application to become a future student under your post graduate studies department. The main purpose is to further elevate my skill and knowledge as a professional to fulfill my ultimate goal of becoming an advanced-level professional in the future. I am opting to take up a Doctorate Degree in Business in Human Resources Management. The reason why I chose this major is that I can further elevate my leadership and professionalism to provide training to newly hired employees, clients, and to the community. My academic goal is to pursuit for excellence by graduating with a PhD in Business in Human Resources Management. As a career goal, I want to become one of the best academic faculties in Saudi’s University. My life experience that inspired me is when I became fascinated on how my parents taught me to become a successful person through little training and workshops.
As for my education background, I graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences with a major in Information technology with a GPA of 3.75 out of 4 on December of 2014. I took up a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resources Management with a GPA of 4.17 out of 5 on February of 2008 in King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia. I also took a two-years Diploma course in Computer Science specialized in technical programming with a GPA of 4.73 on June 2004. In this case, I can say that I am an expert in computer programming related courses so I can efficiently train students, employees, and colleagues after graduating. I believe that I should be chosen because I possess all the requirements as well as to become a successful professor in the university that I currently work.
I achieved technology certificates in the United States such as IT Graduate Certificate in Information Technology, NET Graduate Certificate in .net technology, WD Graduate Certificate in Web Development, and a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science Multimedia. I also gained English Certificates in the United States such as EC San Diego’s English language center in 2011 and an Intensive Academic English program at the University of California in San Diego in 2012. As for my training credential, I completed a training certificate in Jeddah Chamber of Commerce at Human Resources Section and a training certificate in higher international institute for computer. As for my past academic papers, I concentrated on the role of planning in improving the performance of the organization for my bachelor’s degree. During my Master’s degree course, I built a website that is concentrated on a design database coding analysis in the field of technology.
As an extra aspect that I would like the university to know about me is that I represent diversity. I want to prove to the current American administration that even if I came from a different culture, I can still succeed by becoming as a highly-educated professional to finish a degree in the United States. I want to further elevate my experience by graduating in an American University wherein I can further improve my communication skills, technical skills, and leadership skills as formidable experiences. I am looking forward to meeting other cultures because I also live in a community where there are numerous melting pots of cultures that are coming from other countries around the world to seek for a greener pasture in my country, Saudi Arabia. I would like to be remembered as one of the few Doctorate students from Saudi that foreign culture can make a difference in the United States by promoting diversity.
