The Best Nightlife Areas in Changkat Bukit Bintang
The Changkat Bukit Bintang is a historical place; it was used as a colonial building during pre-war. Today this has become the central entertainment and shopping districts (Backpacking Malaysia, 2015). There are several activities that they can choose in this area, including food tripping, spa, games and amusement etc. As the night comes this become one of the best nightlife areas; it is always filled with party venue including bars and clubs that is mostly popular among local and foreign travelers and backpackers. They also have several gay and lesbian bars and clubs visited by locals and foreigners, straight and gays.
Some of the best nightlife areas in Changkat Bukit Bintang include the Frangipani Bar; it is a high end bar with great interior, cocktails best loved by men and gay customers. The Green Man is a British theme pub serving local and international wines and spirits. The Reggae Bar and the Havana Bar & Grill are Bob Marley inspired sounds and beer promos. The Changkat Bukit Bintang is one of the friendliest and inexpensive drinks in Kuala Lumpur. The Village Bar has a bottled glass interior design, colorful dangling and other eye catching unique decors (Bindloss & Brash, 2008).
Getting to the best nightlife areas in Changkat Bukit Bintang is easy, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport; they can use the Express Rail Link train going to Kuala Lumpur Sentral, and from there they can take another train to Titiwangsa going to Changkat Bukit Bintang. Alternatively, they can also use a taxi from the airport directly to the Bukit Bintang Center. If they are using their own car for travel, they can use the Lebuhraya exit towards Kampung Pandan for faster and hassle free no traffic road, although this road has a toll fee compared to other option (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
For first time visitors the usual opening hour of more nightlife in Changkat Bukit Bintang are 6:00 pm until 2:00 am. For first time travelers it is good to visit the Bukit Bintang especially the best nightlife areas, but they must be aware that because of the crowded areas, the crime rate is high including holdups and pickpockets especially at night. Although the government is doing their share, they still have poor peace and order, although it is generally safe on the street, but the record of petty crimes and house burglaries are still high (Biswas, 2015).
