The Best Nightlife Areas in Boracay Station 1
Boracay is an amazing Island with long white sand beach; the Station 1 is located in the North Western part of the beach, it is the upscale part of the Island. It is the country’s top destinations for locals and foreigners that seek the best nightlife areas and experiences. The beach is perfect for sports, frisbee, kite flying, entertainment, boating, parasailing and bird watching (Williams, 2010). The Boracay Station 1 is the busiest boat station on the Island because of the bustling party, most visited by travelers and backpackers; they are jammed packed with more services on site.
Some of the best nightlife areas in station 1 include, the Cocomangas since 1987, is the favorite among local and foreign tourist because of their shooter bar challenge to drink and withstand 15 glasses of assorted wines whoever withstand this challenge will be given a wall of fame award (Cocomangas.net. 2015). The Sand Bar offers beach lounge, local and western dishes and variety of drinks, fire dancing, live entertainment and music. The Club Paraw is famous for their long hour nightlife with live DJ’s, drinks and party. These are just some of the best bars and clubs in station 1.
Getting to the station 1 and the best nightlife areas of Boracay, from Ilo-ilo they can take a bus to Caticlan. In Caticlan, they can ride in the small boat to Cagban Pier this cost about a hundred pesos. From the Pier they can take the tricycle to different parts of Boracay, or they can also hire a private boat or Bangka. This will cost around P2500 pesos for a round trip while for economical travel, they can form a group and divide their share. Alternatively, they can also hitch a ride for less than P100 pesos (Williams, 2010).
The best nightlife areas in Boracay start as early as 4:00 pm and close late as 3:00 am (Hotels.com, 2015). The Department of Tourism provided an office in Boracay along the beach where travelers can get free maps. In most of their establishments, bars and hotels are accepting credit card, masters and visa; however, there are limited numbers of ATM within the Islands. Furthermore, internet and Wi-Fi is not always reliable on the beaches (Atiyah et al, 2002). There are also currency changers, but visitors are advised to bring enough cash to ensure they will not run out of cash.
