Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, Best Nightlife Areas in Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok
Sukhumvit Road is a highly urbanized cosmopolitan and shopping center in Bangkok; but at night it changes into a live entertainment, bars, club and the thriving sex tourism. The Nana Entertainment Plaza and Soi Cowboy are some of the best nightlife areas and hot spots in Sukhumvit; it is the home of a bit naughty people and foreigners looking for the wild and classy cocktail, cool party, go-go girls and drinks (Bangkok.com, 2015). Incidentally, the upper part of Sukhumvit is the place of the elite, accomplished expat and rich executives (Bush, 2011).
There several clubs and bars within the best nightlife areas in Sukhumvit Road with a high number of girls. In Nana Entertainment Plaza the Rainbow Group features hundreds of pretty ladies pole dancing every night. Nana Plaza also has a large population of ladyboy while Soi Cowboy is also popular with Baccarra club that features pretty girls with different shows and lots drinks. Wherever they choose, both of these places offer a good place for relaxation, good time and hang out, they can also choose to chat or explore activities with the talented girls outside the clubs (Turner, 2015).
It is easy to get to the best nightlife areas in Sukhumvit; for instance, Nana Plaza is located along the entrance of Sukhumvit Road very close and opposite to different hotels including DI Place, Heaven@hotel Bangkok and Majestic Suites (Reynolds, 2010). The easiest way is to take a ride using BTS Sky Train; they will be taken to the BTS station, from there they can walk with just a few steps from the Nana Entertainment Plaza. The Soi Cowboy is located at the corner of Asoke and Sukhumvit Road; travelers can take either BTS train or MRT.
The busiest time in Sukhumvit is around 8:00 pm to 3:00 am. There are also negative sides in the best nightlife areas, for instance, in Nana Plaza in case of fire or bomb threat; there is only a single entrance and exit that can trap people. It is advised that customers must not go to bars upstairs. Foreigners are also advised in picking the real girl from lady boy that has no difference in appearance. According to some customers, in Soi Cowboy the price of bar fines is confusing, it can range from 600 to 1000 Baht (Stickmanbangkok.com, 2011).
