Introduction
The recent stories about abduction are one of the most heart breaking scenarios that we always hear it on the internet. But in this case, the girl who grew up in a rich background has been living her life being offered the best things that every girl could ever want. Meet Alena, she is 16-year-old teenager who has been living in a perfect life under a wealthy family. For this aspect, the girl grew into a society where she believed she belong because she has a loving parents with no signs of rejection. As the girl grew, she was always being spotted by several commoners who have been envious about her life. She is enrolled into an exclusive school. Alena’s daily allowance is comparable to a minimum wage worker, receiving at least $200 dollars a day. She is from an ultra-rich household wherein her parents are working in a large-scale corporation and travels around the world (Zipes, n.p.).
As a rich girl, there were several attempts of kidnapping that was blocked by her bodyguards because her parents know that her status is envied by many families. Alena’s family believe that she could be an instrument for negative elements of the society by means of taking her away from them and then will start to extort her for their personal gain. But one day, a woman successfully abducted her in a non-forceful way. She was enticed to join a certain club; however, she was taken into a place where no one recognizes her. Alena knows that the place where she is currently located is far from her home. She then still believes that the woman who took her treated her very well. Then as time goes by, she realized that there is something about this woman that is close to her heart. Upon staying with her abductor, she realized that it was her biological mother.
The girl then started to ask why she grew up in a non-biological background. Her mother explained to her that she was raped and took her away from her mother while she was working with that particular family. Then the girl realized that the woman was raped by her father and she is their daughter. At first, the girl was confused on why such issues were just made her anxious about her real life situation. As days goes by, she discovered that there was circulating news that her father was involved in a scandal. The media was then refrained from reporting the incident to protect the company of his father. The girl’s non-biological mother was not aware that her father raped their company’s secretary and then took her away from their secretary of the company, which is her biological mother, named as Stephany who quit her job after being sexually abused by her father.
This is the reason why the girl started hating her father because the secret was only revealed by her non-biological mother. Alena started to struggle whether to tell the truth to her father’s current spouse, which is the woman who treated her as her real daughter. However, Alena is not quite sure if her non-biological mother knew about the incident. Alena spoke with her biological mother and made an agreement that she will return to her home and would still contact her real mother from time to time, which is without the knowledge of her traditional parents. When she returned home, she claimed that she was drugged by a group of men and escaped from that particular household. Alena made a story so that her parents will not notice that she was with her biological mother whom it carved her real identity as a person that changed her life after the abduction.
Conscience grew that is slowly tearing Alena’s heart on a gradual basis. She started asking questions regarding the secretary of her father. But before finding the truth about it, Alena realized that she might be kicked out by her family if she reveals the truth. She then patiently waited until she graduated to college and will land a job that is not connected to her family’s corporate empire. After 8 years when she is already employed as staff in a corporate world, she moved out from her house and started living independently. At the same time, she still secretly meets her biological mother, Stephany who is also working as a manager in a supermarket chain. When the time was already right, Alena started to ask questions about her real identity with her parents.
Alena revealed that she is a product of a sexual assault. However, she is thankful that she grew up in a household that treated her as their real family. She just revealed the real situation after living in a stable life independently because she does not want to be kicked out from her home. Her family initially denied, but then slowly accepted the situation. Her family still accepted her as their precious member of the family. However, the rift between the father and the biological mother was never settled. Alena is now living in a peaceful life alone while being visited frequently by her family and biological mother. She made an agreement that there should be a schedule where she spends time with her family and her biological mother. At this moment, Alena is happy with her current situation and thankful for not being rebellious against her family who treated her as their real family member and lived happily ever after.
