The Best Nightlife Areas in Puerto Prinsesa Palawan

The Puerto Prinsesa in the Western Region of Palawan is widely known for its abundant eco-tourism and sublime beaches and rivers (Williams, 2010). It is also a haven for adventures, scuba diving, mountain climbing, dolphin watching and nature tripping, trekking, biking and more; but the most famous part is the world class subterranean underground river framed by different plants, ancient trees and wild animals including monkeys, squirrel and even wild snakes. The best nightlife areas are also alive in Puerto Princesa; there are several bars, clubs and KTV all around the Island.

Some of the best nightlife areas in Puerto Princesa include the Salo Bar and Restaurants, perfect for drinks, party until the sunrise. The Naughty Karaoke Bar offers videoke music with helpful bar girls or guest relations office to help customers enjoy the night. The Kinabuch Grill and Bar is perfect for visitors, foreigners and tourists who want to experience the taste of exotic delicacies in Palawan. They also offer widescreen TV shows and billiard table. For those who love art, the Kamarikutan offer foods, coffee and drinks plus art gallery and island souvenirs (Virtualtourist.com, 2015).

There are several ways to visit the Puerto Prinsesa in Palawan, from Manila, there are several companies including Cebu Pacific, Seair and Zest Air, this takes more than one hour. Alternatively, they can also choose to travel by sea, both Superferry and Negros Navigation sail at least once a week from Manila to Puerto Prinsesa. This will cost around P1000 to 1800 pesos only (Bloom, 2010). From Puerto Prinsesa town proper to different parts of Palawan including their beaches, Coron and El Nido, they can take a taxi that will take them in every part of Palawan Island.

Some of the best nightlife areas like the Salo Bar and Restaurant open at 6:00 pm and close at 2:00 am. It is highly advised for new visitors or foreigners that littering is strictly prohibited in Puerto Prinsesa to preserve the beauty of nature. The government highly enforced the “Oplan Linis” all over Puerto Prinsesa in cooperation with Edward Hagedorn the former City Mayor; this law will charge a hefty fine for littering violators, or clean the streets for public service to maintain the cleanest and greenest image of the city (Newman & Matan, 2013).
