The Best Nightlife Areas in Crossroads, Cebu
Cebu is considered as the Queen City of the South; it is also one of the most developed provinces in terms of commercial, trading, manufacturing and education system (Oxford Business Group, 2009). The best nightlife areas in Crossroads are mostly located in Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue; they offer all the best dishes in different countries, including the Japanese, Chinese and other Western cuisine. It is also the best location among the Cebuano’s to sing their heart out with several KTV’s and Karaoke bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The advantage of choosing the crossroads is their fair price KTV’s bars and restaurants.
Some of the best nightlife areas in Crossroads are located in Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue in Banilad, include the K1 Family KTV and Vudu. They are popular with younger customers with their large Crispy Pata or Knock out Knuckles and drinks while singing with their favorite songs using the modern Karaoke system. The Maya Mexican Restaurant in Banilad is probably one of the best to offer authentic Mexican delicacies; they also accept reservations for birthdays and party. The Distillery in Gov. M Cuenco offers the widest selection of imported wine, beer, whisky vodka and cocktails (Zeelifestylecebu.com, 2012).
Getting to the best nightlife areas in Crossroads from Mactan International Airport to Banilad and Gov. M. Cuenco, they can take a taxi to take them in most parts of Cebu; this will only take about 15 to 20 minutes going to crossroads for less than a hundred pesos. Alternatively, there is also a multi-cab near the airport going to SM mall, from the mall they will have to take another jeepney going to different parts of Cebu including in Banilad where most of the nightlife and crossroads mall and IT park are located (Penfires.com, 2011).
The best nightlife areas in Crossroads start as early as 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm and close late at 2:00 am. For first time travelers in Cebu they must be guided that car rental cost high compared to Manila, this can take up P2, 500 pesos or more in a day, plus additional petrol expense. In Cebu there are only limited public bus routes, but jeepney, multi-cab and taxi are the usual mode of travel. They must book in advance at the hotel and include car escort service arrangement to eliminate hassles and traffic while traveling (Bloom & Rowthorn, 2006).
