The Koh Lanta district consists of small Islands including Mu Ko Lanta, Mu Ko Rok, Mu Ko Ngai and Mu Ko Haa. It is also considered as one of the oldest city in Thailand that has preserved their old culture and tradition. Their west coast is populated with beautiful sceneries, resorts and beaches and the best nightlife areas where they can enjoy delightful cocktails and drinks. Even countries in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Tiger Airways can take them directly to Krabi Airport.
The best nightlife areas operating hour in Koh Lanta vary from coast to coast. For disaster preparedness, the government and the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) are conducting regular Disaster Preparedness and Risk Reduction that have become a lesson learned in the entire region. They are also conducting tsunami alert regularly to warn their staff and even their guests to cooperate, that it is also their responsibility to understand the warning signs and symbols to help them where and when to call or stay in case another environmental disaster arise (Brown, 2014).
