The Best Nightlife Areas in Ma May Street, Hanoi
The narrow Ma May Street is interconnected within the streets of the Old Quarters, it is among the favorite of local and foreign tourists and backpackers because of their beautiful ancient street and houses in tube form. There are also ancient temples or the Nguyen Trung Nnga and cultural centers inspired since French colonial period. There are also some of the best nightlife areas in Ma May, few locals simply select a nice place to drink and make fun, although there are bars and pubs almost in all parts of the street (Benjamin, 2014).
Some of the best nightlife areas in Ma May streets include the new Studio Lounge Restaurant; they offer superb cocktail and drinks, good interior, lounge and music. Even the Le Pub and the Polite Pub offer a good venue to eat and drink a couple of beers. But before going to the nightlife one of the most favorite in Ma May Street is the 87 Old Ancient House open to the public, visited by groups and solo backpackers because of its original antique form that they have maintained its luxurious beauty (Crossingtravel.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas of Ma May Street are easy to reach from Hanoi International Airport by different buses or taxi available at the terminal to the old quarter. If they want a hassle free travel, they also have the option to take the Airport shuttle service or private car for only about $25 to $30 dollars; this will take about 45 minutes to one. From the old quarters of the Ma May Street is reachable through walking, but there are also scooters for hire if they want to experience the adventure of solo travel (Durston, 2015).
The opening and closing of the best nightlife areas, bars and restaurant start as early as 6:00 pm to 2:00 am while the old ancient house is only open at 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Tour in Hanoi, 2015). Visitors must also be aware that some taxis from the airport may take advantage of flagged rate, although there is a standard fare of about $16 dollars to $20 dollars, flagging will charge much higher, drivers may even take passengers to a longer route. Do not allow drivers to negotiate with a flag rate by simply declining their offer politely.
