Subject: Dilapidated Office
Last year we have been experiencing difficulties in office facilitation due to the grim office facilities. The lights flicker at from moment to moment which makes it dizzying to do office work, the bathroom has leaks in the faucets and the need for paper towels has come up, we experienced major turnovers of janitors due to the heavy duty of cleaning the office, the ceiling drips every time there is rain. In other words, the situation in the office is becoming intolerable not to mention embarrassing towards clients who visit to do business about their insurance.
We would like to ask for more funding this year for office repairs. The dire need for this is already most apparent and obvious. The consequence of ignoring the need for repair may result in mass resignation due to office negligence in office facility maintenance. Already there are talks of office workers forming a union not only for the maintenance of the facilities but also for a raise in salary compensation which I know cannot be accommodated as of the moment.
To give the office workers the comfort of a better office would ease off the tensions between administration and employees. Perhaps this would be a step into better negotiations when the matter of compensation comes into fore.
