Introduction
Diversity is the process of enhancing different demographical values and identities by choosing the Asian, Hispanics, and Native American populations. These are based on the differences with respect to gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, race, and belief. In this case, there is a significant impact if a person is very sensitive to the diversifying the population’s interest and needs in order to become progressive and successful in any way. Keeping up with the caring on the diverse population is important because you are able to meet people from different age, ethnicity, and cultures that thrive within one community. As a result, there is a positive impact that a person will understand because they are going to interpret and further associate their interests with the Asian population.
Health promotion and disease prevention
Health promotion is the process of improving the health and wellness of the involved population. This is to ensure that the health meet the nutritional needs of the people involved in that particular population. Promoting health is important so that the ability of the person to become productive is always attainable. When you promote the health of the person, you are going to eliminate all risks associated with their health care condition. This is similar with the disease prevention wherein you are going to break the chain of infection. As a person who has been always associating their conduct on eliminating the causative factors, this is to remove all vectors as well as agents responsible for establishing a disease to the three different populations. Disease prevention is important when you are going to remove the source of the problem to ensure that there will be no or lesser risks encountered by the population (James, 2013).
Benefits for the whole population
In terms of political benefits, there are laws that provide free access to health care for all the residents within the certain area of the authority’s jurisdiction. The law provides free health benefits for the population to seek accessible and affordable health care procedures. This particular law is concentrated on improving the welfare and safety of the general population regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, and culture. The second benefit is the socio-economic issues. The general population will have the lesser time to pay more bills because they are going to be given the accessible care in terms of medical, mental, and psychological help. There are more than half of the population are within the middle class. This means that these middle class residents have limited resources in order to maintain their capability to become productive and competitive (Wickstrom, 2015).
The third benefit is for the sociocultural benefits will be the social improvement of the new members of the society. These are the migrants and the native settlers who will start working with each other in one environment. This is the process wherein both new and old residents will start sharing their cultures and belief with each other within the same community. The other issue is the application of security because migrants have the notion to seek a better future once they already transferred to a certain place. These are migrants that are going to adjust with the new living lifestyle that the natural settlers have already been applying to their own household. In this case, they are given the livelihood assistance and security to live happily with other households of the community.
Areas concern to the derived
The Asian, Hispanics, and Native American population’s main areas of concern are their psychological adaptability. This is concerned on their psychological well-being as they are exposed to a new environment. Migrant Asians are usually suffering from a culture shock because they are going to adjust with the new environment where they will start adapting new cultures and practices. The other areas of concern are the level of security once they are in a new environment. Asians are usually targeted by natural citizens who are promoting conservative ideology. The result is that there is a risk for physical assault against Asians due to a difference with the perception of the other race towards Asians. There are verbal harassments, which have been observed by other Asians due to their ethnicity.
In terms of laws, Asians, Hispanics, and Native Americans also experiences exclusions with the basic rights that are applied with the first class citizens. This is due to the conflicting interests between the conservative and the liberal party groups. Since this term is governed by conservative groups, they are willing to eliminate immigrants and other minority populations. The health benefits of Asians, Hispanics, and Native Americans are also at risk. This is for the reason that there funds that are no longer given to the health care department of the community where it should have been essential to ensure the health and welfare of the minority population. Any changes such as budget cuts to the healthcare will increase the gap of expenses between the higher class and the middle class populations. This risk might increase mortality and morbidity of diseases affecting a certain population (Kislev, 2016).
Population’s health needs
The core groups should sign a petition, allowing persuading the authorities to grant their request to create a more effective and efficient health care access. This includes establishing a new facility that caters the needs of minority groups who are unable to pay for their health care bills whenever they are gets sick. In this case, the existence of new facilities will provide free medications, dental services, and rehabilitation facilities. As a non-profit institution, it seeks to target individuals who are unable to pay for their basic health care access. Aside from receiving care to the general population, it will further provide a bridge for the affected population to become more prioritized when accessing basic health care services.
Funding is another important measure to allow new accessible facilities to be built in a community that is populated by Asians, Hispanics, and Native American Indians. There are online facilities that are available to cater the needs of cause and institutions who want to improve their health and welfare. One example is the applicability of “Go Fund Me”, which is a non-profit online organization that helps other institutions who wants to establish their institutions for the needy. It is a website that allows every user to have the chance to earn in order to provide a cause to a specific population. The purpose is to provide a contribution through financial funding system to pay for their facilities, materials, and expenses. Funding can be made by individuals, groups, or organizations that are willing to donate something for the needy. This is a perfect way for the health care professionals and volunteers to further improve the welfare of the selected population’s health and mental needs (Sikka, 2014).
As for the culturally congruent way, participation of sponsors is important to help continue the cause to the three selected population. There are large companies who are willing to search for causes so as to ensure that they are able to provide the needs of the selected population. Aside from financial cause, there is a series of legal assistance to help the selected population to become productive and competitive. One example is to have a selected number of individuals who can have the chance not to be deported back to their countries. The reason behind is that providing legal assistance ensures the overall welfare of the involved individual. Sponsors are also able to assist an individual who is already on their terminal stage. They provide the most intensive care and treatment so that the life of that critically ill individual will have a lengthened life.
Implication
It has been learned that caring for the diverse population is a complex and comprehensive way of ensuring their needs. It should have legal purpose so that the operations will not cause any conflict of interest with the authorities. Having the legal way is always important to authorize your operations will not at risk your cause to be considered illegal or unethical by the monitoring agencies. Every cause must have a sponsor so that they can continue with the will and ability to extend their mission to the involved population. These are the selected minority population who are always associating their needs to an operating institution. A network of sponsors is important so that they can have the alternative to prolong their care for the diverse populations in terms of either finance or in kind (Wirstiuk, 2014).
