The Best Nightlife Areas in Pattayaland
Pattayaland consist of 3 Sois near the Walking Street, while Sois 1 and 2 central (13/3 & 13/4) are just a regular shopping area open 24 hours offering lots of good buys, fast foods, coffee and drinks (Gray & Ridout, 2002). But At night the best nightlife areas added more glowing lights all over the streets. This place has gained popularity not just for ladies, but also for ladyboys and gays, they attract about 4 million average tourists, including gays visitors yearly, although in Sois 2 there are also clubs and bars with girl performers (Travelgayasia.com, 2015).
The majority of the nightlife areas in Sois 1 and 3 in Pattayaland are offering the finest bars and gay clubs including Boyz Town, Boyz, Boyz, Boyz and others offers exciting entertainment venue offers exotic party and body massage for men and gays. Sois 1 and 3 is considered as the gay community where bars and clubs mostly present male dancers showing big muscles and abs, there are only few girl bars and club within this Sois. Some of the best nightlife areas with girl performers are in Sois 2 including the Mistys bar, Babbles, and Rodeo (Pattayaconcierge.com, 2014).
From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya, they can choose metered taxi for about 1300 Bath, from Bangkok; taxi will cost about 2000 Bath. From Bangkok, they can take the aircon-bus from the Eastern Bus or Mochit Terminal that depart every half an hour. In Bangkok they can also catch the train to avoid heavy traffic in Pattaya, although they will need to check the arrival departure because of its limited travel (Pattayaconcierge.com, 2014). From Pattaya Central, visitors can also rent a motorbike or Tuk-tuk to go around Pattayaland and nearby Sois, shopping, fast food, clubs and bars.
Most of the gay bars and clubs in Pattayaland open around 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm and close around 1:30 am to 2:00 am. The constant advice coming from the Thai Health Ministry is that about 50% of workers within Pattaya clubs and bars came from the North that has the highest rate of STD and HIV infection, while there are more than 30,000 people in Thailand that are infected. Thai Ministry continues to remind travelers, especially foreigners to use contraceptives in their engagement. In Pattaya, private clinics are open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (Yourpattaya.com, 2015).
