The Best Nightlife Areas in Krabi Town

The Krabi town is the central capital town in Krabi province, where tourism is their major industry, there are several islands and beaches in Krabi Town, most of them are great areas for snorkeling, mountain climbing, rock climbing and scuba diving. The best nightlife in Krabi Town is lighter; there are hardly Go-Go girls or Go-Go bars in this area. Most of the bars and clubs are generally operating for local visitors for socialization night views and relaxation, although there are hostesses that can be invited, nevertheless they are still able to attract locals and foreign visitors (Krabi-info.com, 2015).

The best nightlife areas in Krabi town are also less wild and glamorous compared to another province. The Amata Bar and Buffalo Bar are just wooden bars, but also highly structured and popular among nightlife seekers. The Chilling Bar and Crazy Bar are cozy bars offering some live, entertainment, music and DJ’s. The Night Joy Bar has the reggae theme; it is among the favorites of the hippies with live band and reggae music. The Rooftop Bar is for people who want to eat and see the best views of Krabi Town and Khao Khanab Nam (Amazinglanta.com, 2015).

From Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur, they can take the airplanes directly to Krabi International Airport. The problem in Krabi is that there is no standard fare, the only option is fixed rate or prepaid to take visitors from Krabi. From there they can transfer to different destinations in Krabi town via taxi, car rental or bus and will cost around 90 to 150 Baht. They can also take a ferry from other islands in Krabi (Yourkrabi.com, 2015); if they are in Phuket using ferry boat can also take them to the central capital of Krabi town (Brown, 2013).

Most of the best nightlife areas in Krabi town, including Buffalo, Chilling and Crazy pubs open at around 7:00 pm and close at 2:00 pm. For security measures and travel advice, it is highly important to remember, when visiting in Krabi Town or basically in most provinces of Thailand, visitors need to be careful when talking about their culture and religion of the people which is combined Buddhist and Muslim. Although they live with respect, there are occasional reports of conflicts and insurgencies, killings and violence between the group of Muslims and Buddhists (Hookway, 2013).
