The Best Nightlife Areas in Phi Phi
Phi Phi is a wonderful island in Krami, with white sand beaches and beautiful rock formations; it became more popular because of the movie “The Beach”. This island is one of the islands that gather more foreign travelers and backpackers because of the best nightlife areas in Phi Phi with wild activities and entertainment all over the island. Everywhere is stunning scenery perfect for nightlife seeker, during the day it is perfect for sports, diving and snorkeling; they also have abundant species of marine animals including sharks and flippers diving in crystal clear waters (Holden & Morgan, 2013).
Phi Phi’s best nightlife areas is probably one of the wildest on the islands of Krabi, for instance, the Reggae Bar offer music, drinks and entertainment, but also traditional Kickboxing. There are also pubs and clubs that offer amusing fire dancing beside the beach. The Sunflower Bar is a perfect place to eat, drink, chill and relax while listening to soft and live music while Carlito’s Beach Bar is offering open air disco party and games (Gothailand.com, 2011). There are also the Slinky Bar, Banana Rooftop and other bars recommended for travelers to visit.
From Krabi Town, Ao Nang, and Koh Lanta or from Phuket, to get to the best places and nightlife areas in Phi Phi, visitors can take ferries for about one to two hours, or they can take the speedboats for about 45 minutes to one hour. It is a good idea to come earlier before departure to get a good ride, since there are limited ferries and speedboats travelling back and forth to the Phi Phi Island, or they can also book online. The cost may vary, but obviously choosing a ferry is more expensive (Burke et al, 2010).
Most of the best nightlife areas in Phi Phi open as early as 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm and closed around 2:00 am. Unfortunately, some bars and clubs in Phi Phi like the Hippies Bar was entirely devastated by the Tsunami last 2004. It is highly important to protect the marine life and ecosystems to preserve their original niche and natural habitat, it goes without saying that visitors or travelers are requested not to litter and clean up their mess while within the beautiful beaches and bars of the islands of Phi Phi (Phiphi.phuket.com, 2015).
