The Best Nightlife Areas in Koh Phangan, Koh Samui
Koh Phangan has the most popular little beaches on the Island; it is also the home of snorkeling fun, colorful boats, sunbathers and sports. They have several architectural houses and bungalows and the best nightlife areas that offer various activities, engagement including bars and clubs in Haad Rin, Thongsala, Chaloklum and Thong Nai Pan. There are also lots of festivals with most of these little beaches as they mostly celebrate the famous full moon party which is basically one of the main attractions that influences travelers to visit the Koh Phangan Island (White, 2008).
In Central Haad Rin, they offer bar hopping, late night party and dancing with wild girls. For those looking for quiet nightlife there is Chaloklum Island, Café Del Mar and Café the Beach offers open air bars to experience sea views and cold breeze. In Thong Sala, the Girlie Bar offers good food and drink with sexy ladies dancing with sweet music. Finally, the Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Nok Beach is one of the most celebrated cultural events in Koh Phangan with the breathtaking live fire dancers in the center of the crowd (Koh Pangan.ws, 2015).
From the Koh Samui Island to Koh Phangan, they can take the Ferry Boat to the best nightlife areas all the way to Koh Phangan will takes about 20 to 30 minutes. From Koh Phangan, there are several cars, taxis or motorcycles or pickup trucks that they can hire to travel all the way to different beaches in Koh Phangan. They just have to be careful and understand that the roads are usually has rough grounds and pothole terrains, especially during rainy season; they should not to expect a smooth ride during their visit (Ferrysamui.com, 2015).
The best night life areas open from 10: pm or earlier and closes around 2:00 pm or later. It is highly advised among visitors to take care of their belongings, especially during the festivity because of the reported cases of theft that has become the common problem among visitors. They must hire deposit boxes and lock their rooms before hanging out or sleeping (Spooner, 2013). Reports show that thefts and petty crimes happen even in the bus, using razors to snatch anything. Visitors must ensure that their transport documents and passports are secured at all times (Stapleton, 2015).
