The Best Nightlife Areas in Night Food Market, Luang Prabang

The Night Food Market is the pride of Luang Prabang in terms of foods and shopping; they have biggest lines of restaurants in the strip of Sisavangvong Road perfect for travelers to taste the authentic Laos cuisine. Because of their street foods, fruits and vegetables and special cuisine, they are able to capture not just locals, but also foreign customers from different countries. Furthermore, they boost their medium to cheap meals to expats and foreign customers, there are also sampling and food tasting for customer satisfaction to try or taste the food before they buy (Robbins, 2014).

Some of the best nightlife areas in the Night Food Market are mostly unbranded stalls or mini restaurants. Some lanes offers veggie buffet where customers can pick from different vegetable cuisine. There are also lanes for buffets of cakes and mini cakes where customers can choose any kinds of cakes to fill in their plates. There are lanes of stalls with lots of grilled meats with beer that is also served in buffet style. The Night Food Market also includes lane for fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices and raw meat, fish and chicken (Vietnamitas En Madrid, n.d.).  

Going to the Night Food Market in the Luang Prabang coming from the Luang Prabang Airport is a bit tedious; they can take the bus from the airport going to the Luang Prabang town proper. From here, they will need to take the 876 bus going to the Chiang Mai train station. From this station, they need to take the train going to Nong Khai, and from here they will need to take another bus going to Thanaleng. From the Thanaleng they simply need to walk until they reach the Night Food Market (Rome2rio.com, 2015).

Before shopping and dining in the best nightlife areas in Luang Prabang Night Food Market, make sure to bring the appropriate currency or cash. The only currencies accepted in Luang Prabang are Thai Baht and US dollars; try bringing just enough of any of these currencies not to fall short of cash (Sylvester, 2013). The night food market is open at 5:00 pm and close till 11:00 pm or until midnight. Outside the Night Food Market there are several stalls that are selling foods and colorful handicrafts, textile, arts and antiques (DK Publishing, 2013).
