The 19th Street is the beer street in Yangon they are basically one of the liveliest places in Myanmar because of their best nightlife areas. There are several bars, discos, beer terraces and barbecue house in this little street that are mostly populated by expats, young professionals and government employees. This is also the favorite among the local celebrities, foreigners and locals are all mixed up every night to choose their hangouts. It is also the home of starlet and bar girls that added attraction to the narrow and dark 19th Street in Yangon (APA Publication, 2013).
The best nightlife areas in the 19th Street, Chinatown of Yangon include the BBQ Restaurants in the length of Mahabandoola Road perfect for those who love the Chinese culture; drinks, foods and nightlife. Another is the Burmese Food Stall, is simply an open air restaurant for a mass audience, they offer cheap beer and barbecue that is the favorite among locals and foreign customers. The Kosan Snacks & Bar & the Double Happiness Bar, they offer the best services with cocktails, drinks and cheap snacks and neat and clean surroundings, with Wi-Fi access although smoking is not allowed here (Yangonite.com, 2014).
Getting to the best nightlife areas coming from the Yangon Airport going to the 19th Street, they can use the taxi available at the airport. Drivers can take their passengers directly to the best nightlife areas; this will only take around 15 minutes travel time (Rome2rio.com, 2015). Going back to the airport is basically the same. Unfortunately, there is no bus from the airport that goes all the way to the town proper. Alternatively, they can also rent a car for a more comfortable ride; this is also available at the airport.
