The Best Nightlife Areas on Serendipity Beach Road, Sihanoukville
The Serendipity Beach Road, located exactly in the Serendipity beachfront is one of the finest nightlife destinations among travelers and backpackers in Sihanoukville. It is the city’s main hangout and along the beach, there are several bars and bamboo made bars, clubs, lounges and restaurants for dinning drinking and party, mostly visited by travelers and backpackers. Visitors will definitely find the cozy atmosphere and soft breeze on the beach; there are also live music and band, pool table and disco party are all available in several bars and clubs within the Serendipity Beach Road (Sihanoukville-accommodation.com, 2010).
Some of the best nightlife areas, bars and clubs in the Serendipity Beach Road include the Monkey Republic, favorite among the youth and backpackers for their cheap foods and drinks. The Nick and Craigs is a popular restaurant for dining pleasure, while the Ledzephyr Pub is popular with their drinks, with finest rock music collection and free pool table. The JJ’s and the Dolphin Shack is the perfect place for those who love to party and disco all night. Getting to the town of Serendipity Beach Road coming from the Sihanoukville Airport, there are limited options to get there, but the simplest and easiest way is still the taxi that can go directly to the beachfront to take their passengers, it is even cheaper for four travelers to divide their cost in one taxi. Alternatively, they can also take the shuttle bus from the airport, although this will only drop their passengers at the end of the Serendipity Road, they will simply have to walk to reach the best nightlife areas (Lina, 2014).
The best nightlife areas in the Serendipity Roads and their business hour usually start at 5:00 pm and mostly close at 2:00 am. The government warns about drugs that are the underground part of the nightlife in Cambodia, tourists and visitors are warned if they are approached by certain peddlers, tuktuk drivers and aggressive drug sellers, simply refuse and do not buy. The government is serious to penalize or execute people that are selling or using drugs, even if they are foreigners, they run the risk of paying high price or caught by the local authorities for imprisonment (Gosinahoukville.com, 2015).
