The Best Nightlife Areas in Golden Lion, Sihanoukville
The Golden Lion, Sihaknouville is also a Plaza popular for their nightlife, indoor and outdoor sports bar party near the Serendipity Beach. There are plenty of the best nightlife areas, bars, clubs and restaurants for partying within the Golden Lion, these venues are clustered type streets. There is plenty of music, sports bar with wide screen TV, live entertainment, pool table and some girls that serve as escorts. They are highly popular, especially during weekends for both local and foreign visitors, because of their growth; they are continually adding more bars and clubs within the area (Lonely Planet, 2010).
Some of the best nightlife areas and bars in the Golden Lions Plaza include the Shipwreck Bar, they have live music, wide screen TV for sports and entertainment and friendly Staff. Another popular bar is the Stevie Caley Sports Bar. Their features are like the Shipwreck, but they have 5 huge TV mostly playing live soccer games. The Talkabout Bar, they claimed that they are the most family friendly bars in this place; they also speak English and International languages to suit their guest preference. Finally, the Pacino Bar offers large screen TV and sports (Pubstreetsihanoukville.com, 2015).
Going to the best nightlife areas in Golden Lion Plaza in Sihanoukville is simple and straightforward, but the simplest form of recommended travel is still taxi. From the Sihanoukville Airport to the Golden Lion Plaza, this will only take around 20 to 25 minutes. It is also possible to reach the Golden Lion Plaza with Tuk-tuk ride or a motorcycle taxi, although they are not as comfortable as taxi, they are basically cheaper. Alternatively, there is also the option of renting car transportation within the airport going directly to the Golden Lion Plaza (Gosihanoukville.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in the Golden Lion Plaza open as early as 6:00 pm and close by midnight or as late as 2:00 am. According to the Travelinsurancedirect.com.au (2012) foreigners and new travelers must watch out about drink spiking, for instance, if someone approach them to chat to gain their attention and offered them a free drink, it is most likely a drink spiking. Their modus is that once they drink the offer, with just a few hours, they will lose their senses and wake up without their belongings. It is highly advised to simply refuse the offer.
