The Best Nightlife Areas in Zhongshan District
The Zhongshan Street near the MRT station is also a Combat Zone; it is also the red light district because of fashionable bars, clubs, KTv’s, Restaurants, Teahouse and Pubs, although it is less crowded compared to Guangzhou and Shenzen. Locals and expats mostly enjoy the nightlife party, live music; live band and relax within the best nightlife areas. Old and new visitors will also acknowledge the cultural and traditional Western architectural designs that they can still view as they walk around the streets of Zhonshan, that this add beauty to their nightlife (Tripadvisor.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in Zhongshan include the Engine Bar, they have a unique and fun car theme bar scattered around the area. The Zhongshan X-night Bar has a high-tech sound system to chill out and relax. The Navy bar takes their visitors back to the Navy time, which is part of the Zhongshan history. The Sensation bar is mostly populated with youth drinkers every night while the Zhongsan Bar introduces their sensitive appeal, but relatively cheap drinks plus the added attraction of tall Russian bar girls dance show that highly attracts foreigners and new customers (Chinatouronline.com n.d.).
Getting to the best nightlife areas in Zhongsan Street from the Taoyuan Airport to the Zhongshan Road, they will have to take the Line 1819 Bus going to the High Speed Rail Taipei Station. Next is to take the train going to the Badu Road, from here they can simply walk to the Zhongshan district. In the Airport, they can also take the Line 1962 going to the Banqiao Train Station. From this station they can take the train going to the Keelung Station. From here, they can simply walk to the Zhongshan District (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in Zhongsan Street open around 9:00 to 10:00 pm and close around 2:00 am. One major travel warning among visitors is the danger of motorcycles on the streets and buildings. There are 10 million available motorcycles in Taipei. This is located in every major street, houses and business districts that are causing more road accidents, hit and run, riding and tandem robbery, holdups and fire burns because they are made of flammable plastics. The problem is that if one motorcycle burns or overheated it easily spread out fire to damages to near establishments (Ching-yuan, 2003).
