The Best Nightlife Areas in Tsim Sha Tsui
The best nightlife areas in Tshim Sha Tsui include street bars and restaurants that are mostly found in the East of Tshim Sha Tsui; there are also café bars, nightclubs, disco and cinema for after office hour nightlife. The nightlife in Tsim Sha Tsui is also best loved by travelers in other countries because of their food fest, exotic Korean and Indian dishes and other traditional Asian cuisine along the Tsim Sha Tsui. For a sea view experience while dining and drinking, there are also festive menus in Alfresco Lane (Time Out Group Ltd., 2015).
Some of the best nightlife areas, bars and restaurants include the Knustford Terrace is famous for their International cuisine including Russian, Japanese and Spanish. The Hillwood Road is popular for Western cuisine. The Prat Avenue has the most bars and pubs for music and Karaoke parties and consider as the business and wildest part of Tsim Sha Tsui. The Kimberly Road is best loved with their Korean cuisine. Getting to the best nightlife areas in Tsim Sha Tsui coming from the Hong Kong Airport, they can take the MTR going to the Kowloon Station; from here they can simply walk for about half an hour to reach the Tsim Sha Tsui area. They can also choose to ride a bus from the airport going to the Haiphong Road and from here they can walk a short distance going to the Tsim Sha Tsui. Alternatively, if they want a more comfortable and private ride they can take the Taxi available at the airport directly to the destination (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
In Tsim Sha Tsui there are several bars open around 7:00 pm while restaurants open as early as 10:00 am, most of them close at midnight or until 2:00 am. According to the Tobacco Control Office, they are conducting regular bar inspections and they warn bars, clubs and restaurants that smoking is generally banned in their establishment. This includes the Tsim Sha Tsui, although most owners do not display this warning. The penalty for people caught smoking is HK$1.500. This should serve as a warning for new visitors going to the best nightlife areas in Tsim Sha Tsui (Carney, 2013).
