The Best Nightlife Areas in Soho, Hong Kong

The South Holywood Road; or simply Soho is another main attraction and considered as one of the best nightlife areas among local and foreign tourists to enjoy food and drinks in the heart of the Central Business District of Hong Kong. There are also several bars and clubs in Soho, but the main attraction here is mostly the abundance of international and local cuisines coming from Asia, Europe and South America. Most customers intentionally visit this place to eat and drink the best and the widest selection of food and wines even if they expect expensive dishes. (Hotels,com, 2015).

Some of the best nightlife areas and restaurants in Soho include the Jaspas, they gained their popularity because of their high quality international menu. The La Pampa Argentinean Steak House is another popular restaurant with a wide selection of Argentinian foods, fresh meat and fish menu. The Achie BS & Taco Loco offers New York special delicacies, burgers and sandwiches. The Frites features farmland animal menu including pork knuckles, fresh mussels and Belgian waffles. The Habibi Café and Restaurant, has a very controversial menu including mussaka, shwarma and the humus, their prices are higher compared to restaurant (Boland, 2015).

Getting to Soho best nightlife areas is easy, from Hong Kong Airport, the simplest way is to take the MTR directly to the Hong Kong Central Station, from here; they can simply walk to explore the area going to Soho. They can also take the bus from the airport to take them to the Connaught Road Central and then, they simply have to walk a few streets going to the Soho nightlife areas. Alternatively, for hassle free and more personal travel, they can also take a taxi in the airport going to the Soho area (Rome2rio.com 2015).  

The best nightlife areas, bars, clubs and restaurants open early at 6:00 pm till midnight. There are cost effective tips, especially for new customers and visitors if they want to taste more menus, for instance, they can look for the tag “Happy hour”. This is the time when the price of food and drinks are lower. Tipping the waiter is not necessary, most of them have high salaries, if foreigners and travelers eat or drink a lot, they should choose a buffet style restaurant. Lastly, to ensure seating, they must book their visit for reservation (Stone, Chen & Chow, 2010).
