The Best Nightlife Areas in Petaling Jaya
The Petaling Jaya is one of the most progressive cities in Asia, located in the Southwest part of Kuala Lumpur. They highly attract even the fortune 500 companies and foreign direct investors because of their fast rising exports and sales trading (McNair, 2002). Petaling Jaya also has the best nightlife areas in Kuala Lumpur that is usually crowded because of their attractive and colorful street lights, live band and entertainment centers with live DJ’s and techno music. It is a perfect venue for bar hopping and meeting new friends, it is also one of the most popular among foreigners.
Some of the best nightlife areas, bars and clubs in Petaling Jaya, include, the Roof 1 First Avenue in Bandar Utama, they have a huge entertainment lounge, best cocktail, grassed helipad for executives, live bands and DJ’s (Penguin Book, 2015). The Hyde at 53M has the widest collection of wines, champagne and whiskies. They offer good services and warm ambience with casual food and drinks. The Laundry Bar is one of the best among the youth and expat with live band, music and party. The Foley Irish Bar & Oasis Skybar offers the best foods loved by expats (Kuala-Lumpur.ws. 2015).
Getting to the Petaling Jaya coming from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, they can take the train to Kuala Lumpur Sentral, and from here they can take another train going to Taman, Jaya where Petaling Jaya is located in just a few distances. Alternatively, they can also use the bus at the airport headed to KL Sentral. From here they can take another train going to Taman where the Petaling Jaya is located. Lastly, there are also taxis available at the airport; they can travel directly from the airport to the Petaling Jaya (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
The opening and closing of some of the best nightlife areas in Petaling Jaya is as early as 5:00 pm till 1:00 am. The government of Kuala Lumpur warned the local and foreign visitors about the different banned items and activities in most parks of Kuala Lumpur. These include littering, prostitution and drugs are highly not allowed. Even kissing in the park, bringing of animals, buying fake items like DVD’s’ and CDs and most of all any forms of drugs it not allowed. All these items and activities are highly prohibited in Kuala, Lumpur (Leo, 2009).
