The Best Nightlife Areas in Jalan Bukit Bintang
The Jalan Bukit Bintang is one of the major roads in Malaysia; it is a long walkway in Kuala Lumpur. It is a highly popular alley for after dark entertainment with their best night life areas, for good time and recreation, games and live bands. They also have plenty of trendy bars, clubs; restaurant and shopping spree catering from a wide range of audience including locals and international visitors; they are also flooded with expats and young professionals. This is also a place where several apartments and establishments are used for widespread sex trade exchanges (Malaysian Digest, 2014).
Some of the best nightlife areas in Jalan Bukit Bintang include; the Tom, Dick & Harry’s Live, offering cool interior, good service and great menu and live bands playing soft music. The Pulse Ultra Club is popular with their huge balcony and overlooking, live band and DJ’s, mostly visited by young professionals. One of the most popular restaurant and cocktail lounge is the award winning Circus Pavilion, because of their unique international gourmet. The Captain’s Cabin Funtheque Ship Restaurant is popular and spacious seating with games and music that customer can join and watch (Kuala-lumpur.ws, 2010).
There are several options in getting to the best nightlife areas in Jalan Bukit Bintang, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, they can use the train going to the KL Sentral and from KL Sentral they can take another train to Bukit Bintang to explore the different parts of the area. Alternatively they can use the Bus in the airport going to the KL Sentral; from there, they can take another Train going to Bukit Bintang. They can also hire a taxi if they want a more comfortable and straight ride without transfer, although this will definitely cost higher (Rome2rio.com, 2015).
Most of the best nightlife areas open as early at 6:00 pm and close around 2:00 am. The Jalan Bukit Bintang is also a notorious place for gangsters; there are also the challenges and high competition of tenants in attracting customers of different malls that is creating quarrel and street fights. There are some places where they can expect less orderly and wild non privatized areas that are part of the alley. There are also some prostitutes targeting foreigners and backpackers. New visitors should be aware along this area in the stretch of Jalan Bukit Bintang (King, 2008).
