The Best Nightlife Areas in Cebu IT Park
The Cebu IT Park is formerly known as the Asiatown IT Park; it is the central business district of Call Centers, Business Process Outsourcing Companies, Information Technology Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Epson, Real Estate Companies and other Industries. It also has an integrated master-planned community and high rise condominiums for residential living. Most of the residents here are family of young professionals, foreigners and executives. The Cebu IT Park becomes; livelier at night with vibrant colors of bars and clubs with live entertainment and music to suit the needs for relaxation after office work (Cebu holdings, 2012).
The best nightlife areas in Cebu IT Park include the Den Nightclub formerly Loft Nigthclub is one of the coolest places to hang out at night; they offer local and international cuisine with party and dancing chef. The Walk event center is the popular venue for known performers with live DJ’s, bands, special promotions. There are also plenty of western and local style bars and restaurants in the IT center for those who simply want sumptuous food and drinks. This includes the Moon Café, the Casa Verde, Chicken Charlie and Tara’s Café & Restaurant (Everything Cebu, 2014).
Getting to the best nightlife areas in Cebu IT Park from Mactan Airport, they can take the multi-cab going to the Marina Mall; this yellow public multi-cab is available 24 hours a day. From here they must take another ride via jeepney going to SM mall and from SM they can take another jeepney going in different places in Cebu downtown including in IT Park in Lahug (Penfire, 2011). Alternatively, from Mactan Airport they can take a taxi ride directly to the IT Park, however, they should expect a higher transportation cost.
The best nightlife areas, opening and closing in Cebu IT Park varies from 6:00 pm to 2 am although there are some bars and restaurants that are open until 5:00 am like the Loft Nightclub. Foreigners or first time travelers must be guided that Filipinos are highly English speaking people. They must not be very expressive in criticism or observation, simply talk at the place at the right time not just in nightlife but also in every transaction. When invited by a Filipino, especially at a night party, expect that more of them are late in their appointment (Nadal, 2015).
