The Best Nightlife Areas in Senggigi
Senggigi in Lombok is one of the highly developed tourist spots in Indonesia (Taylor, 1997). It is a perfect place for travelers looking for wonderful scenery and quiet place to relax or simply have fun at the same time; this is another favorite among tourists, foreigners and backpackers. They have beautiful beaches and coastal roads with naturally hospitable local people. Furthermore, they also have the best nightlife areas including bars and clubs, with high tech lightings and music. If they are looking for party and entertainment, Senggigi is definitely one of the coolest places to stay in Lombok.
The best nightlife areas in Senggigi beach include, the Happy Café, Marina Café Bar and Papaya Café, they offer local and international cuisine with a wide selection of drinks or cocktail. There are also pool tables and live music to request the latest songs. The Sahara Club and the 69 Club are good venue for anniversary and party that requires visitors with casual outfit with no advance reservation required. The Square and Gossip bars, Tropicana Club and Discotheque are some of the most exciting night spots recommended when visiting Senggigi beach (Lombok-tourism.com, 2013).
From Bandara International Airport to Senggigi, the easiest and affordable way to reach Senggigi Lombok is by airport bus or shuttle bus, provided by private or public buses like Perama or Damri. Alternatively, there are metered taxis in the airport in Lombok to Senggigi, price may vary based on time of travel, although there are taxis that may allow fare negotiation. In getting around the Seninggigi beachside there are more options including bemo or, motorbike, oject and pony cart for hire. Boats are also available if they want to explore the deeper side of the beach (Virtualtourist, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in Senggigi, Lombok have different opening and closing schedules. For instance, discotheque opens at 12:00 pm to early morning while entertainment bars and clubs start around 6:00 pm until sunset. The advantage of bars and clubs in this beach is that most of them are free or low entrance fees. The Lombok Network Holidays made a travel advisory that since the majority of religion is Muslim, during Ramadhan, most nightlife and restaurants may or may not open. Tourists are suggested to eat and drink elsewhere or in their hotels to respect their religion (Lombok-network.com, 2015).
