The Best Nightlife Areas in Ben Thanh Night Market
The Benh Thanh Night Market in the District 1 of Ho Chi Minch is probably one of the most important and one of the best nightlife areas in the hearth of the city because of the huge selection of shopping, dining and the basic needs of people. Another advantage of the Ben Thanh Night Market is their competitive price. They have a wide variety of products and services, cookware, plastic ware, clothing, toys, jewelries, souvenirs, foods, fruit and vegetables, etc. that make this place fully crowded even at night time (Wiens & Wiens, 2015).
Within the neighboring streets of the Ben Thanh Market are the real Bia Hoi and bars and clubs, but the good thing about the Ben Thanh Night Market is they can bring the family for nightlife; they can go shopping with the widest selection of items while the prices are often cheaper. Around the market building there are about 20 eateries and restaurants serving delicious food, rice, pancakes, seafood, drinks and noodles that you can watch while cooking. Even outside of the market are lined up with sumptuous street foods and delicacies along the market (Fin, 2015).
Getting to the Ben Thanh Night Market is the same as going to the best nightlife areas. From Tan So Nhat International Airport, Vinasun taxi is available. This will cost around 160,000 VND up to 170,000 going to district 1. Another option is the public city bus number 152 for as low as 5,000 to 6,000 VND and an additional 6,000 for their luggage. Passengers will have to wait for about half hour to fill the bus, but the advantage is that it goes directly to the downtown or Ben Thanh Market (Tripadvisor.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas and stalls at the Night Market are open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and re-opens at Phan Boi Chau Street around 7 pm to 12 midnight every day. It is still advised to buy foods, meat and vegetables early in the morning for fresher and wider selection of merchandise. Reminders for shoppers to protect themselves from thieves and pickpockets, as much as possible do not stop with the street children to reduce more risks. They must keep their cell phone, jewelries, camera, wallet and even their cash until needed (Travelfish.org. 2015).
