The Best Nightlife Areas in Theingy Zy Plaza, Yangon
The Theingy Zay Plaza is a very pleasant nightlife area in Yangon; this place is also located in Chinatown. It has a combination of several bars, restaurants, rooftop clubs, discos, karaoke, shopping and gambling plus the beautiful bar girls and several Burmese Ladies that feature beauty and fashion shows or live entertainment in the nightlife areas in Yangon. Locals and foreigners simply love the bars and club to party and seek girl’s companionship. The Thein gyi Zay is just like the Mini Las Vegas in Myanmar, but they have a very considerable price (Myanmar Nightlife, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in Theingy Zay in Chinatown include the Palace and Emperor Disco, this is an exotic clubs and beside the food and drinks, they are also famous for their pretty bar girls. The Zero Zone Restaurant also gained their popularity with their great ambience, rooftop bar, food, music and girls fashion shows (Datab.us, 2015). Also within the open air street beside the Ambassador building where Zero zone is located there are several small restaurants that are selling exotic food including snakes, seafood and other animal cuisine and juices that are mostly visited by foreigners and backpackers.
Taxi is the best and simplest way in getting to the best nightlife areas in the Thein Gyi Zay in Yangon from the Yangon International Airport; this will take about 12 to 15 minute ride from the airport to the Plaza. Unfortunately, there are no buses available to take the visitors to the area. But alternatively they can also hire a car within the airport or online. They can also book in advance if they want to visit different areas before they are taken to the Theingyi Zay nightlife areas (Rome2rios.com, 2015).
The best nightlife areas in the Thein Gyi Zay mostly open around 8:00 pm and close until midnight. According to the review of Carolen (2015), accommodation is a problem in Yangon and basically in Myanmar, they have limited hotels, guest houses and no dorms while travelers are increasing. This resulted in Myanmar having the highest price accommodation in Southeast Asia; it is highly advised to plan ahead and book ahead, especially during high season such as months of November to February to make sure new travelers and visitors will not suffer from this accommodation problem.
